Attention students! On Saturday, April 27th, mole competition Música y Mole will be held at WPHS! Restaurants will compete for two “cazuela” trophies, and winners will be selected based on Judges Choice: Best Mole in Westchester and People’s Choice: Best Mole in Westchester. All attendees who buy tickets will be able to vote on their favorite mole. The participating restaurants include Bello’s Mexican Grill, Gordo’s Deli II, Tepe’s Kitchen, and Sundance Kitchen & Cantina.

Local mariachi and Mexican dance groups will also be performing, including WPHS’s own Mariachi Juvenil Los Tigres. Other performances will include an accordion solo by Valentina Juarez, college Mexican dance groups, and more mariachi groups.

Don’t miss it – head to the student parking lot on Saturday, April 27th from 12-5pm. Admission is free for all, but anybody who wants to taste and vote for mole needs to buy a $20 ticket. For more information and a full performance schedule, see the WPHS Mariachi instagram @wphsmariachi.
