SEED stands for Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity. We meet on Wednesdays from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We have two meetings left (listed below). We hope to see you there, and if you can’t make it, there’s always next year!
SEED is a forum for discussing issues that affect us all, such as race, class, and sexuality. All students, teachers, and administrators are welcome. Some topics we cover include our school’s dress code, students’ mental health, and social justice issues. We also have an overnight trip to the Taconic Outdoor Center, where we talk about undoing racism and engage in interactive activities. We invite you to be part of any or all of our discussions. Snacks and drinks are provided at each meeting. Please follow our Instagram page @wphsseedclub and join our remind @wpseed if you are interested. Hope to see you in our circle!
Meeting dates:
May 14 and May 21
