Are you ready to meet the talented and passionate members of the White Plains High School dance team? This team was formed just last year through the dedication of Isabella Arco and Anissa Bagby, seniors, and junior Sara Espaillat. In just a short time, the Dubset Dance Team has quickly become a vibrant, creative space for students who love to move.
This year’s leadership team includes:
-
Presidents: Isabella Arco and Anissa Bagby
-
Vice Presidents: Sara Espaillat and Addison Javier
-
Secretary: Haziel Perez
-
Treasurer: Annalise DiGuglielmo
Specializing in a wide variety of styles—tap, contemporary, jazz, ballet and hip-hop—the team brings together dancers from all backgrounds. What truly sets the Dubset team apart is its inclusivity: no experience is necessary to join. You don’t need to know any turns, tricks or technique. Just bring your passion for dance!
The team practices every Monday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Routines are choreographed by members themselves, which ensures that each performance reflects the team’s creativity and unique energy. Great care is taken to highlight every dancer, making sure their movements shine and their faces are seen on stage.
Balancing academics and extracurriculars is a key priority for the team. Many members are involved in other school activities, such as the musical, outside dance studios or sports. To support this, practice days are chosen together at interest meetings based on everyone’s availability. Announcements are sent out through Remind by the team’s advisor, Ms. Reis.
Interested in joining? Reach out to Isabella Arco or Ms. Reis via email. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or a complete beginner, the Dubset Dance Team welcomes you to be part of something special!
