Last month, Spanish Club went at it again with their yearly tradition of sending thanks to the little ones at Post Road. Club members wrote letters of gratitude to the kindergarteners, who are part of the Dual Language program, filling everyone’s heart with joy.
Gratitude is good for those giving and receiving it. Giving thanks and showing love have many benefits, from boosting your mood to increasing your self-esteem. For the receivers, it lowers the risk of depression and anxiety, and instead provides more optimism and energy. Receiving our love and appreciation will help the little ones from Post Road feel more safe and secure. They will feel proud to be themselves, and part of the White Plains High School community. Thank you, Spanish Club!
