The annual White Plains High School Trunk-or-Treat kicked off after school on Halloween. Every year, clubs decorate their trunks and put out buckets of candy for White Plains elementary students to come around and “Trunk-or-Treat” at the high school. This year’s Trunk-or-Treat was packed with hundreds of kids and parents, coming to visit our club's trunks (and gather enormous amounts of candy)!
There were games, music, candy, and costumes. Many clubs decorated their cars uniquely and even hosted fun games such as ring toss and soccer to interact with the kids. Dozens of enthusiastic club members showed up to volunteer at their respective trunks, helping run the games and make it a memorable event for the children.
One car that particularly stood out was the Latino Coalition with a huge Spiderman inflatable in the trunk, and spiderwebs everywhere. Overall, all of the club's trunks were decorated well and each had unique activities and fun prizes.
This was a great year for our annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration, and made so many neighborhood kids happy. The event was a huge success, because it got so many kids out socializing and having fun playing games with their peers.
