Exciting news! From Dec 3rd through 13th, White Plains will be having its very own holiday market. White Plains will welcome over 40 vendors throughout downtown on Waller Avenue, similar to the annual Winter Village in Bryant Park. If you’re like me, the Winter Village in NYC is one of your favorite ways to celebrate the holidays and winter’s arrival. It’s so exciting that we will be having an event so similar right in our own backyard (although I was more than willing to take the trek into the City to get Holiday Market treats). Lucky us!
The event will be set up very similar to Bryant Park’s, with sheds to house the venders that are even made by the same company. The best news about this is that each vendor’s shed is self-contained, so it will be easy to be socially distant and follow necessary safety precautions.
Not only will this event help to facilitate long-awaited (and much needed) holiday cheer, but it will support local businesses that have been struggling during the pandemic, with vendors and artisans from all over the state coming to sell their products. It’s a win-win event.
For residents all over Westchester, this will be an exciting 10-day event to look forward to and count on during such uncertain times. I know where I’ll be on December 3rd!
